I was inspired by my peeps at A Different King of Blog to do another music post.  How did they inspire me?  By their appreciation for music that I was convinced would not capture their attention in the least bit.

The Ultimate Release playlist from the other day captured some D.C. flavor, then threw you all the way to Cali, and finally back to the east coast–the south.  I have befriended many on the basis of my mix in taste in music.   The CDs that I create have confused the hell out of a lot of people but they capture my various moods that present in a day, or in an hour.

There are many ways that we are able to release all of our pent up frustrations–emotional and physical…two of the main methods being through sex and music–both of which I feel are spiritually related.

Think of the “Oh, God, Yes”es that are said during sexual intimacy…envision the fluid or contorted movements of the body. Now picture dance moves and envision the rhythmic body rocking in combination with the jerking and throwing. Hypnotic.

UPDATED 9PM (I couldn’t help but watch a replay. This hypes me up for the final presidential debate…the last one pissed me off because it ran at the same time as MTB.)

Finally, Making the Band (MTB) 4 season 3 is over. That was messed up how they tricked us last week with what was originally marketed as the season finale, but it was only part one. (And I was forced to watch the second presidential debate instead.)

So, Danity Kane (DK) is over, too. I have been reading message boards to see what the “fans” (I wouldn’t consider myself a “fan” of DK. I would never buy their album because I don’t really like their music. Nothing’s wrong with their music, it’s just not a style that I would favor. I wouldn’t even download a track. In fact, when their song popped up on my radio station, I was like, “What the fuck?” and I turned it.) have to say, and of course, there are various opinions.

I usually don’t watch things like this. Not because I’m not interested, but because I have much better things to do. And then it gets recycled about 50 times so I never have to miss it. I’m writing about it now because I feel that it makes an interesting conversation piece, at the moment.

Kung Fu Panda…a well worth it review

Yes, I saw Kung Fu Panda. And now that I have, I’d rather have seen it twice to replace seeing The Strangers last week.

Yes, there is a big fat panda that does martial arts along with some other animals, namely a tiger, a snake, a crane, a monkey and also a preying mantis.
